Meet the Team

Roy, the Director practicing in the Krugersdorp Office, is regarded as the spiritual leader within KVV Inc. This is the pinnacle factor of his personal and professional accomplishments. He embodies values of honesty, integrity and excellent work in all aspects of business. Roy leads others to discover their own purpose, identity and wants others to reach their dreams. He completed his studies at Bloemfontein and finished his LLB at RAU in 1994. Roy then worked in the Deeds Office for a few years, gaining valuable experience of the Deeds Office's workings. In 1995 Roy settled down on the West Rand where he has practiced for 20 years. 2015 saw Roy joining forces with his colleagues and mentees, Diaan and Mariëtte. Together they founded Kapp van Wyk van Zyl Incorporated. Roy is well known for his approachability while maintaining close relationships with his clients. He is widely respected for his expert knowledge of Property Law and strives to share this knowledge with his clients.

Diaan, our Director in the Centurion Office, is a natural leader with great foresight. He can adapt to all kinds of circumstances and he “makes it work!” As an Entrepreneur he thrives on challenges, looking for solutions and you will often find him the catalyst where difficult and complex transactions are involved. Diaan started his LLB Degree at the University of Johannesburg in 2000 and by 2008 he was admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer. In 2010 Diaan completed a national Diploma in the Drafting and Interpretation of Contracts. As a result driven, self-motivated and resourceful Entrepreneur he has proven his ability to develop and strengthen his team to maximize profitability and efficiency. Through his leadership and ability to grow all sectors of the business, Diaan drives a dynamic and progressive company.

Diaan van Wyk

DIRECTOR (Centurion)

Joseph, became a director at KVV Inc in 2017 where he is mostly involved in the Mortgage Bonds department and liaising with the Banking institutions. Joseph is an admitted attorney with a right of appearance in the High Court of South Africa issued in terms of section 4(2) of the Right of Appearance in Courts Act No. 62 of 1995. He has extensive experience in Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution. His experience is derived from serving clients in the Public Sector, Regulatory bodies and the Manufacturing Industry. He has been involved in several high profile matters, including appearances in the Supreme Court of Appeal. He is a multifaceted leader with the ability to adapt to different environments and thrive. He is involved in initiatives where he interacts at high level with Boards and Executives. His ability to quickly understand the dynamics of various businesses places him in an ideal position to contribute meaningfully in any environment as a legal practitioner. He obtained his LLB from the North West University (formerly Potchefstroom University) in 2007 and is currently studying toward an LLM in Corporate Law at UNISA. After completing his articles in Pretoria he became a director at one of the oldest and most prominent law firms in Pretoria where he worked for several years and was also the recipient of several awards. He then went on to join a prominent parastatal where he became the Head of Legal Services.

Joseph Leotlela

DIRECTOR (Centurion)

Mariëtte is the Director practicing in our Pretoria (Montana) Office. She has years of experience and a record of excellent results in a variety of challenging and multicultural environments. She adds a unique blend of leadership and executive business savvy with competencies to add to bottom line results. As Functional Head of production she has implemented product quality control procedures, personnel training programmes and exhibits excellent problem solving skills. Mariëtte has proven the ability to manage and complete projects at the highest levels. In 2004 she finished her LLB at the University of Pretoria, as well as her articles. She was admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer in 2004 and as a Notary in 2006. She completed a postgraduate Diploma in Drafting and Interpretation of Contracts at University of Johannesburg in 2010.

Mariëtte van Zyl

DIRECTOR (Pretoria)

Janene was born in Pretoria and matriculated in Vanderbijlpark in 2004. She graduated with a BCom: Law degree in 2007 and with a LLB degree in 2009 at the University of Pretoria, after which she served her articles of clerkship in 2010 in Centurion. In her final year at University she was admitted by the Law Clinic for Practical Law as an Elective, gaining valuable experience in various civil matters and attending to underprivileged citizen’s legal problems. In 2008 she received a Golden Key Honour Society award, which is awarded to the top 15% of students at the University of Pretoria based on academic merit. On the 15th of February 2011 she was admitted as an attorney and conveyancer and on the 4th of October 2011 as a Notary Public. After completion of her articles she was appointed as a conveyancer at the firm she was working for in Centurion. Janene is head of production management at the Centurion office of Kapp Van Wyk Van Zyl Incorporated, focusing on production quality and customer service. Janene loves the outdoors, and values time spent with her family, especially at the camp fire.

Janene Visser


Ianthe grew up in Krugersdorp and matriculated in 2008 at Noordheuwel High School. She completed her LLB degree Cum Laude at the University of Pretoria in 2012. Ianthe finished her articles in a litigation based firm in Johannesburg where she had the privilege of servicing numerous multinational conglomerates and blue chip companies. During her studies she received various academic awards including Golden honorary colours from the SRC, Golden Key Honour Society Membership, LexisNexis book award and was also included in the Dean’s merit list. As a final year student she was also involved in pro bono work in the University or Pretoria Law Clinic. On 26 November 2015 she was admitted as an attorney of the High Court and on 27 February 2018 she was admitted as a Conveyancer. She has been with Kapp Van Wyk Van Zyl from 2015 and is head of production management at the Krugersdorp office. She is results driven, committed to excellence and takes much pride in her work which she views as a reflection of herself.

Ianthé Biggs


As Chief Accountant for KVV Inc, Elrinda is in charge of our financial department as well as Human Resources, where her duties include: giving account of all trust and business bank accounts, managing income and expenses, administrating the payroll, attending to the budget, managing a big part of the admin of the company and last but not least; keeping everyone to stick to the budget. Elrinda started her career as cashier at SARS. She obtained valuable experience in the collections department from where she was transferred to PAYE and later specialized in perks tax. After eleven years of service she ended her career at SARS as a PAYE inspector. In 1996 she started as bookkeeper for Mr. Kapp at his very young law firm and loyally stood by his side for 20 years and counting. She lives in Roodepoort with her husband and is the proud grandmother of 4. She believes that every person is created with a divine calling in life and that the combined purpose of all callings is to harvest for the kingdom of God.

Elrinda Kluyts


As Public Relations Officer for our Krugersdorp office, Eileen believes that building and maintaining client relationships is the key to her success. Striving to live by KVV Inc slogan “Fostering partnerships, driving results.” Eileen started her property career in Bond Origination which set the foundation for her vast knowledge and experience in Property Law. A born and bred West-Rander, Eileen lives in Krugersdorp with her husband and 2 daughters. She lives by the motto …. “Keep doing the right things right!”
